Saavn Media Limited (“SML”) will be hosting a contest to promote a feature of JioSaavn Pro that allows its subscribers to stream more songs on the JioSaavn app (“App”) and even have the option to share their stream counts via a user’s social media account such as Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, etc.
PRIZE. 21 (Twenty-one) winners (“Winners”) stand a chance to win either AirPods by Apple or Noise Buds or BoAt Airdopes (7 of each) at the sole discretion of SML. 1 (One) bumper Prize Winner stands a chance to win an Apple iPhone 12(collectively referred to as “Prize”).
No cash or other prize substitution is permitted, except at SML’s sole discretion. Prizes are non-transferable. However, in circumstances beyond our control, we may substitute a similar alternative prize of equal or greater or lesser value in our sole discretion.
The following terms and conditions are the official rules (“Rules”) that shall be applicable for the Contest and you must fully accept and comply with these Rules in order to participate:
HOW TO ENTER. In order to qualify as an entrant in the Contest, the Participant will have to be a subscriber of JioSaavn Pro (monthly or annual subscription) and undertake an engagement activity wherein they will have to stream more music on our Platform.
The Contest is open only to Indian citizens, residing in India. Citizens and/or residents of countries are not eligible to participate. The Participants must be natural persons having attained the age of eighteen (18) years to participate in the Contest as on the date of the Contest and during the Contest Period.
Participants shall not post any profanity or abusive comments on SML’s respective social media channel or Contest page/post/s. In the event of any such profanity or abusive comments posted on foregoing pages, such Participants shall be disqualified forthwith and SML reserves its rights, in addition to removing such post, to take legal action against such participant and/or user.
By participating in the Contest, each Participant agrees to follow these rules and is deemed bound by any decisions made by SML in its sole discretion, including any interpretations of the terms and conditions of these Rules.
SML reserves its right to declare or not to declare any Winners in the Contest.
Mere participation in the Contest does not entitle the Participants to win the Prize.
SML reserves the right to disqualify any Participant if it has reasonable grounds to believe that the Participant has breached any of these Rules.
The Participant agrees that he/she shall not hold SML and/or their employees, responsible for delays or any problem in connection to the Contest.
Contest entries are open only to users in the Republic of India. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Subject to any governmental approval that may be required, SML reserves the right to, without prior notice and at any time, terminate the Contest, in whole or in part, or modify Contest in any way, should any factor interfere with its proper conduct as contemplated by these Rules.
The contest will begin on July 10 at 12PM IST and will end on July 16th at 11.59 PM IST (“Contest Period”). SML reserves its right to cancel, modify or suspend the Contest at its sole discretion.
Participants shall not, without the prior written approval of SML, speak to the press or any other media nor give any interviews or comments relating to the Contest.
Eligibility. Employees and their friends & relatives, officers, or directors of SML, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and their children, parents, spouse, and members of their household are ineligible to participate.
Disqualification. If cheating is suspected and/or the participant is found cheating as determined in the sole and absolute discretion of SML, the participant will immediately be disqualified from the Contest.
Selection of Winners. The Participant with the highest streaming count will win the bumper Prize from all the eligible entries received. If in the eventuality there are two or more Participants with the same stream time; a completely randomized lucky draw will be the tiebreaker and the ultimate winner will be declared accordingly. Winners will be announced on a rolling basis.
During the Contest Period of 7 days, within 24 (Twenty-Four) hours of each day of the Contest Period, 3 (Three) Winners will be announced.
Amongst such 3 Winners, the First Winner will be eligible to win AirPods by Apple, the Second Winner will be eligible to win Noise Buds and the Third Winner will be eligible to win BoAt Airdopes.
The bumper Winner will be eligible to win an Apple iPhone 12 and the bumper Winner will be declared on or before July 19, 2021, at 10 AM IST. Winners must agree to the use of their names, age, and/or likeness for the purpose of advertising, trade, or promotion without further compensation, unless prohibited by law.
Winners are required to provide their full particulars, including their full Passport copy or any other government-issued identity, residential proof for the purpose of verification and audit. The Prize(s) shall be delivered to the respective Winners subject to submission of all relevant documents, as shall be required in accordance with these Rules of the Contest.
Wherever on the Contest leaderboard, the Participants’ names are not available, placeholder names shall be used by SML for that purpose. Each Participant will be eligible to win a maximum of only 1 (one) daily Prize under this Contest and during the Contest Period.
A Participant announced as a Winner for one day in the Contest Period will then only be considered and eligible for the bumper Prize of the Apple iPhone 12.
Notification of winners.
Contest Winners will be notified through the App. All decisions are final and binding. SML is not responsible and shall not be liable for late, lost, misdirected, or unsuccessful efforts to notify Winners.
Odds of winning. The odds of winning will be determined by the number of eligible entries received.
No Responsibility: SML shall not be held responsible for any loss, claims, the liability that may arise out of or in connection with this Contest. There won’t be any warranty on any of the Prize, also in case of damage during transit, the Winner will not be able to claim the product.
Force Majeure. This Contest is subject to force majeure circumstances including without limitation, floods, natural disasters, war, pandemic, epidemic, lockdown, an act of terror, political unrest, technical snags, the act of God, or any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of SML (“Force Majeure Event”).
SML shall be not liable for any delay or adverse effect caused to the Participants in the Contest including the Winners because of a Force Majeure Event.
Indemnification. You agree to release and hold SML its employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising, promotion and fulfillment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind in connection with the Contest, including without limitation, personal injury, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy. You understand that you are providing your information to SML as part of this Contest.
Choice of law. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation, and enforceability of these Rules, or the rights and obligations of you and SML in connection with the Contest, will be governed by and construed in accordance with, the substantive laws of India. The same shall be tried exclusively at Mumbai courts.
Liability Release. SML accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury, or disappointment incurred or suffered by you/Participant because of entering in the Contest or accepting the Prize. Please read the Rules mentioned carefully. Non-reading or not knowing any of the clauses will not absolve of any liability incurred.
